I would definately describe myself as unique. I am the headmaster of the Island of Misfit Toys in relation to my friends. I am also a jack of many trades. No matter the endeavour, if I apply myself, I usually obtain some level of success. Success is defined differently by many people. My definition of success may not be the same as another persons. In the end, if I am happy, thats what counts.
I currently reside in Appomattox Va. My professional career paths have been varying. I have worked as a US Postal Employee, Customer Service Supervisor, PC Technician, and am current a small business owner. No matter what I have entered into, if I have applied myself, I have done well.
For the last couple of years, I have played professional poker tournaments in different parts of the country. Before you roll your eyes, I should point out that I prefer LIMIT poker. I play Stud, Stud High Low, Omaha, Razz, etc. I actually dislike NL Holdem. Do I play NL? Of course. Im fairly competent in NL, but I prefer Stud variants of poker. Most people think that poker is NL Texas Holdem. They are wrong. Also, I am NOT a professional poker player. In fact, there are times I just get ouright bored with the game. I mean bored to the tune of where I wont play for months. A poker pro cannot do that. I play because I enjoy the game and the challenge. I do not want to be the next Moneymaker. Give me a good 7 Card Stud High Low split game at a lower limit and Im happy.
